OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed!

This is a very exhilarating song coming from Spaceslug, especially after their last full length which delved deep into doom's bleak abyss. The main riff is very layered and syncopated, which feels like something new for them. It also feels very.. freeing, triumphant? Things get muddied in the middle, with a cavernous, spaced out, fuzzy, dreamy section, which gets progressively hazier. They bring it all back to the main riff before it all devolves into a doomy haze, then feedback. Beautiful.
